Plumpton is a well known guitar player who is well known in a number of prestigious circles and events around the world. He regularly organises events both as a solo artist and even in collaboration with his students or other musicians. Evan Plumpton School of Music
As a teacher, Plumpton is constantly on the lookout for ways to give his students opportunities and experiences which will enable them to build the confidence that they need to perform on stage. He regularly organises events which can provide his students with a platform where they can showcase their talents and socialise with the audience members and other guitar players.
Through his regular organisation of Christmas concerts and visits to retirement homes, he provides his students with a platform where they can practice playing in public. Plumpton and his students also partake in the Notte Bianca and are regular performers at the annual Ghanafest.
Solo Events
Evan Plumpton regularly performs in a range of prestigious events both locally and abroad. He has performed in a variety of guitar festivals in Tunisia, Cardiff and London. He is a regular at a number of both local and international events. Plumpton also regularly performs with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra and the Youth Orchestra.
He has performed a number of times at the Ghanja tal-Poplu Festival and at Pjazza Teatru Rjal. He also took part in the last CHOGM opening ceremony which was hosted in Malta back in 2015. Plumpton is a regular guest performer at the President’s palace, a number of private masses and at weddings.
